Don’t forget to eat your vegetables!

We all know that eating lots of vegetables is a huge part of a healthy lifestyle. Replacing other less-healthy foods with vegetables is also a great way to lose weight. So where do veggies fit into the Countless Nutrition system?

As you know, our program allots a certain amount of points for different food categories, including Proteins, Fats, and Carbs. Veggies, however, work a little differently. Notice that there are only a few required points for this category? We treat vegetables as kind of the opposite of every other category – rather than hoping you’ll just meet the number suggested, we hope that you go over… Way over! The idea is that you’ll start eating more and more veggies at each meal.

Some of the veggies in our Food Library are so low in calories that they are considered N/A in terms of color score. And these low-calorie, filling, good-for-you foods are exactly what the Countless program encourages you to eat.
